Find A Solicitor

After receiving both your Instruction and Selling Agents Particulars of Sale and the Sales Contract from the seller's solicitors, the documentation is checked and any specific queries are raised. If you are taking a mortgage, the lender will appoint a surveyor to determine the value of the property. This is not usually a structural survey and is not certain to uncover defects in the property. If the property you are buying is not newly - constructed, we would recommend that you appoint a surveyor to prepare a fuller report. If significant defects are found, it may be possible to negotiate a lower price with the seller. For more information on surveys click here.

Your bank or building society will send written confirmation of the offer of mortgage advance.

Propertymove and its associated estate agency offices working with our panel of Solicitors, lenders, Financial advisors, surveyors and other parties can help avoid delays that can stand in the way of your successful purchase. Members of the team have the experience to deal with problems whether caused by problems on a survey, or enquiries that have not been answered, particularly when there is a long chain of related property sales. Such delays can be minimised by effective communication and keeping all parties informed of proceedings.
